Agassiz, British ColumbiaMountain Institute is a S.3-level, medium security, 80 cell two-storey facility.
The exterior is clad with the brick and is designed in such a way as to break down the imposing mass of the cruciform plan shape by means of corbelled cornices, pilasters, and inset trims around all windows. A glass pyramidal canopy provides visual interest over the main entrance.
