TRIUMF ISAC II Research Facility

ISAC II is a new 5,000 s.m. building on the TRIUMF Research Site at the University of British Columbia. ISAC II will provide higher energy isotopes to maintain and advance TRIUMF's reputation as a leader in particle and nuclear physics. It will be one of the only facilities of its kind in the world.

The new facility houses a Beamline Accelerator vault, an Experimental Hall and a class 10,000 clean room laboratory, all equipped with 10 ton overhead cranes. The building also houses TRIUMF's central computer server, offices, counting rooms and a control room.
