University of Saskatchewan Ice Arena - Feasibility Study

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

The design of the new Ice Arena incorporates two parallel ice surfaces separated by a major block of 8 dressing rooms. The rinks run north-south, with the spectator sheet on the eastern side. The total number of fixed seats in the facility is 2,500, and these would be accessed from a main lobby on the north-east corner of the building. This location works well with the entry to Griffith's Stadium and creates a central drop-off point for spectator varsity events.
