PBK Architects Inc. were retained as a specialist consultant on a design/build team to design the $10 million multipurpose arena. The complex contained other facilities such as a 25 m pool and a leisure pool. The arena will accommodate other functions such as concerts, trade shows and rodeos, and contains 4200 seats and 18 private boxes. This facility is the home of the Kootenay Ice Hockey Club, of the Western Hockey League.
