Westside is one of the largest recreation complexes in Alberta. The leisure ice portion of the arena is the largest in North America. Features include sloped ice, indoor snowfalls, fog machines, fire pits, party rooms and an electronic youth area (complete with video projections, theatre lighting, and sound systems). The adjacent hockey arena is an 85' x 200' NHL pad with four full size dressing rooms plus specialty dressing rooms.
