PBK Architects Inc. developed preliminary concepts for the K2 Development, a $250 M. destination retail centre in Mon Kok, Hong Kong. K2 integrates an eight storey atrium with over 300,000 s.f. of destination retail and entertainment space to create the 'Global Village', a unique interactive experience which blends high-tech retail, edutainment, extreme sports, restaurants, cinemas, an Imax Theatre, and live entertainment into an exciting international destination centre. Themed floors incorporate state-of-the-art technology providing digital projection, lasers and pre-programmed computer enhanced shows to create the ultimate shopping and entertainment experience. PBK Architects also produced concept marketing documents to assist in obtaining the required endorsements from the local civic authorities and the Board of Tourism.
